In short

Stille Støy is a big and dangerous performance about silence. It was produced in an old cold storage on the pier in Andenes. The performance is based on research done on silence and boredom on islands in Skandinavia, by artists from Norway, Iceland and the Faeroe Islands.

Stille Støy started with a seven minute long walk in utter darkness. The audience was led by a voice heard in headphones guiding them on a silent walk.

“If you are silent, you will hear a great language”
